Our Adulting 101 students put their phone-call skills to the test last week by making real calls to local businesses. A huge thank-you to the businesses that took the time to participate and gave our students the chance to practice an important real-world skill. We appreciate you taking the time to be a part of their learning! We’re also looking for a few local professionals or community members who might be willing to help with some upcoming Adulting 101 guest speaking. We’d love to connect with someone local who is familiar with: • Taxes or tax preparation • A leasing agent, property manager, or someone familiar with renting and leases • Someone who knows the ins and outs of health insurance • Civic life such as voting, jury duty, and why having the proper ID matters If this sounds like you, or you know someone who might be a good fit, please send an email to andrea.winkler@cmfalcons.org.
