    CMHS Daily Announcements - 1/14/25
    Good Morning Students & Staff! Will you all please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.
    *Breakfast Tomorrow: Breakfast Pizza, Lemon Chip Crunch Bars, Glazed Donut Rings, Fruit, Milk
    *Lunch Today: Mexican Bowl (Lettuce, Cheese, Guacamole, Salsa) Beans, Rice, Peaches, Milk
    Lunch assignments have been shared in your email inbox.
    *Study Tables: are available everyday after school. These daily help sessions will be available from 2:30 - 3:30 by content area. Bus passes are available for any student needing a ride. (Math - Kasten)
    Any student interested in completing their required Health course credit online this semester, should stop by the office or respond to the email shared regarding this opportunity.
    Any interest in making a change to your Schedule should be shared with your counselor ASAP. Students should attend the class on their schedule until these updates are made.
    *BPA Shoe Drive will be starting on 1/13. Make sure you save any usable used to donate to others in need.
    All Sophomores will be visiting Laurel Oaks, this Friday 1/17. All students should make sure that their Final Forms account is up to date and please dress accordingly.
    Congratulations to the Academic Team on their 51-29 win over Georgetown yesterday evening! Good luck to the team as they travel to Batavia this evening.
    Boys Bowling: Defeated Western Brown where after game 1, we were only up 1 pin going into the second match. They went on a run and they just kept striking! To cap off a school record game of 1236.
    Mason Keck shooting a 300 and a team total of 3128, is a 2 game and 4 baker school record as well!
    Girls Bowling: Defeated by Western Brown 1698 - 2363

    Girls Basketball: The CM girls basketball team competed against Greenfield McClain last night. JV won 23-20 and were led by Makenna Bennington with 8 points and 6 rebounds and Azlynn Green with 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
    Varsity dropped their non conference game 23-47. Azlynn Green led the way with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Dakota Cartner chipped in with 5 points and 2 assists. Makenna Bennington had another complete game with 4 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals.

    *Lunch Today: Chicken Nuggets, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Veggie, Breadstick, Pears, Milk

    Girls Basketball: The CM Girls basketball team faced New Richmond last Thursday. JV lost 17-21. They were led by Stormie Stroud with 6 points. Azlynn Green had 5 points. Hayden Shumaker chipped in with four points. Makenna Bennginton had a complete game with 2 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals.
    The varsity won in OT 35-34. Rylee Long led all scorers with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Makenna Bennington had another complete game with 6 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 steals. Azlynn Green was also tremendous on the boards with 6 points and 10 rebounds.
    Boys Bowling: The Clinton Massie Falcons finished 1st the Lancer Baker Bash. The Falcons finished 3rd in qualifying. The Falcons first defeated Walnut Hills then hometown team Lasalle. In the semi final round the Falcons had to take on Beavercreek.
    In the final round the Falcons took on Elder. The Falcons again went down game 1, but went on to win games 2 and 3 to become tournament champions. Congratulations Boys Bowlers and Coach Hayslip.
    Congratulations to the Academic Team on their 58-52 win over Williamsburg last Thursday in their first match of the season! Good luck to the team as they host Georgetown this evening.

    *We will have one combined lunch today in the Auditeria. Students remaining on campus afterwards that are not in an exam session will be directed towards study hall.
